The TRUE impact of songs.
Sunday, January 24, 2010
It keeps me going. My daily necessity. Without it, I'll just be an empty shadow of myself. What is this much needed requisite? I'll give you 3 guesses.
Nope.
Guess again.
Yupp, you guessed it!
Know what it is? MUSIC.
In times of trepidation, it calms the soul. In times of tedium, it rouses the atmosphere. In times of grief, it expresses the sorrow in someone's heart. In times of happiness, it intensifies joy.
It can become a topic of common interest between friends. It can be used to communicate with people. It is an awesome way to sing praises to the Lord. Music can be used to serenade to that special someone. In times of anger, it can be a channel to vent frustration. Music is a universally accepted method to express love. But I'm just ranting here.
Ever get this feeling? For this period of time, your stuck on this certain song, and at the same time, you keep meeting or talking to this certain person. Your mind will then instinctively label this person with that particular song. Years later, when you happen to hear that song again, the image of that person will just appear in your mind unexpectedly. It happens to me all the time.
Soooooo, anyone who's even reading this previously self-declared dead part of cyberspace, and is curious to know which song I have labelled you as, don't hesitate to ask me k? :) (Provided you even know who I am, of course)
Oh, and, I've been thinking, the reason why I haven't been posting my life here is coz I don't think anyone is reading, and I'm wayyy to lazy to try to remember every single little detail that happened to me, so, I'll only start to post up my unamusing life story if someone requests for it.
And I need a job. Part time. 3 times a week is all I can offer from my already overfilled schedule though. I think no one will hire me. I'll just have to pray then.
