Its been so long since the last post. Last week was SOOO eventful, like the 4H class chalet, from monday to wednesday, then there was also a movie outing with the Clouds people on friday(the show was Dance Subaru, its really good, highly recommended!!), and on friday was also MC's birthday, so we (stephen,lunfei,yihui,szehoeand mingchuen and me) went to eat steamboat at bugis, and i had to miss budding group because of that... And of course, yesterday was father's day, another very long day...
OK! Lets start with the chalet! So it was on monday, and I had originally planned to meet Samuel at about 5 to go to the chalet together, but I needed to bathe first, yet there was a major obstacle. My house had no water! Why, one might ask. Well the answer is because there was this minor renovation in my house on that day, and there was no water for the whole afternoon. When the water was back up, i quickly bathed and met Sam at the bus stop. Although initially we wanted to take a bus down to downtown east, we changed our minds and took the mrt instead. It was about 8 when we reached the chalet, and the BBQ was nearly over. Quite alot of people turned up, and on the first night we went bowling. I didnt sleep on the first night. The second day we went bowling, and alot of time was spent eating, especially lunch, where we ate at Just Acia, some asian restaurant with free flow of drinks and ice cream. Haha, I ate alot of root beer float:) The second I couldnt sleep as well, as i was sleeping with yihui, and i wasnt very comfortable sleeping with girls.( Well, not only girls, guys as well...) The last day I went to ZQ's house to borrow his psp to play bleach. Oh, and i slept when I reached home haha :)
On thursday, I went over to the centre at clarke quay and had a rehearsal for the father's day performance ( In which I was acting as the "Boss" and the "Father". More on that later).
On friday, i went out with adelia, the 2 cheryls (tan and goh), and veronica. We went to watch "Dance Subaru!!". Its a really great japanese show about dancing (mainly ballet, but I like to watch a very talented protagonist) and how the main character Subaru (its a name, not a brand of a car) climbed up in the intricate world of ballet :)
After the movie, I met yihui at bishan, and stephen and lunfei soon came after. We bought a hello kitty balloon for MC (I feel sorry for him)and stephen had to carry the balloon all the way to bugis (its the sort of slightly metallic balloon which is floating... Poor stephen, haha). When we reached Bugis, we went to search out for the cheapest steamboat dinner, and we soon found 1 that costs $16 per person (still very expensive I feel) and then went to meet szehoe at the mrt. Mingchuen said that he was coming late, so we started before him (its his birthday but we start eating before him.. kinda weird?But he really came very late) The dinner was quite good, up till the point when stephen decided to cook some tanghoon and the tanghoon burnt. The smell was like incense, not very appetising.after the meal, we sang mc a happy birthday and presented him with a small slice of cake with a candle on it. Oh, and mingchuen is 17 not 1.(note to self, szehoe $4 50, steamboat $12) I reached home at about 11 exactly.
I rested on saturday. Oh and I had steamboat for dinner again on sat -.-
On Sunday I woke up early to go to blessed sacrament church and attended mass there. From there brian brought me to the centre. So it was father's day and I had to perform 2 roles, one of a bullying "Boss" and another of a role model "Father". I felt I performed rather poorly. Oh well, whats done is done. After the centre thing, I went to my uncle's house at ghim moe, and it was brian who sent me there.Thx Brian :)
At my uncle's house, we had high tea, and later my family went off to trading hub to eat dinner. I was left at the house because the car could not accomodate too many people( my grandparents were also following) so I slept at my uncle's house for awhile. Oh, and my baby cousin paul is really cute. And we celebrated my cousin mark's birthday at my uncle's house as well. He's 4, I think? I took a cab with my uncle, aunt and baby cousin to trading hub as well, and we ate noodles fo dinner. It was really spicy. After dinner we went home to sleep.
Today(or was it yesterday now? its past 12), my parents went off to indonesia, and would only be coming back on thursday. Woooo. But I still have to study, of course. Exams are coming. So I shall end this really long post here. I'm tired. I need sleep... Bleach rox. NIGHT!!!
